The 1st Archaeological Meeting of Thessaly and Central Greece was organised in Volos, 27 Febraury to 2 March 2003, by the Department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology of the University of Thessaly (IAKA) in collaboration with the Ephorates of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities, Byzantine Antiquities, and Modern and Contemporary Monuments of the District of Thessaly.
