The AETHSE is organized every three years jointly by the Department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology of the University of Thessaly, the Ephorates of Antiquities, the Services for Modern Monuments and Technical Works of the Regions of Thessaly and Central Greece, as well as the Special Regional Services of the Ministry of Culture that are responsible for the above Regions.
The 8th AETHSE will take place on 3-6 April 2025 in Volos, at the Papastratos Complex of the University of Thessaly.
The Classical and Prehistoric sessions will take place in the Saratsis Amphitheater. The Byzantine sessions will be held in Room M (Manolis Glezos) next to the concierge on the ground floor.
